Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs, QC

Pluses:  This church was the parish my family came to from Ireland. James and Mary Doherty CARLING raised 9 children at Grenville. Most of the first Canadian generation is buried at Calumet Cemetery.

Minuses:  No communication. I am searching for cemetery records. A repertoire was to be published but the volunteer staff must be non-existent. Funding is probably the problem.

A good place to...  Find family history

The church is located in a very small village where people are always good about taking care of each other.
