Dundas, ON

Pluses:  Dundas is an absolutely beautiful town and a great place if you enjoy the outdoors

Minuses:  I find that being a single parent, you come across many negative attitudes and people tend to push you out of their social circle if they are married and in a better financial circumstance.

I also find that the community centre does not use it's facilities properly. Many other rec centres tend to have more activities to hold the younger populations interest (basketball, Friday fun nights, etc.), whereas Dundas concentrates on outdoor activities like soccer and baseball, as well as hockey. They need to open up the community centre so that children/pre-teens/teens have somewhere to go to gain social skills and develop healthy lifestyles and healthy choices. Far too many young people are bored and become distructive in this town.

A good place to...  enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, etc. if that is something you enjoy. It is also a town full of history.
