2001 population: 23,816 (Source: Statistics Canada) "City of the Arts" Western terminus of Canada's transcontinental railway. Port Moody is a city in the province of British Columbia. It is at the head of Burrard Inlet. The community was named after Richard Clement Moody, officer of the Royal Engineers.
