Sheet Harbour is in the province of Nova Scotia.

The area was settled in 1784 by Loyalist soldiers and refugees of the American Revolution.
Construction of a hydroelectric power system on the East River in the 1920s destroyed the salmon population and decimated the local fishing industry.
