2001 population: 12,110 (Source: Statistics Canada) Brock is a township in the province of Ontario. It is on Lake Simcoe. The community was named for was named for Major General Sir Isaac Brock, who was killed in the War of 1812.
The municipality, created in 1973, encompasses the former townships of Brock and Thorah, the villages of Beaverton and Cannington, and the former police village of Sunderland.
